Graduated from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw and obtained MBA degree at Harvard Business School. Marek brings extensive experience in developing company strategies, managing investments, driving restructuring efforts, and leading digital transformations. He has been a member of Ciech’s Supervisory Board since January 2019, and the Deputy Chairman of Ciech’s Supervisory Board since May 2020. He has held positions at renowned firms like Bain & Company, Terra Firma Capital Partners, and McKinsey & Company.
Hugues studied at the HEC School of Management and holds an MBA from INSEAD. He is an experienced banker, and former CEO of Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and ABN Amro. Hugues has been active in banking for thirty years, gaining experience in ten different countries in Asia and Europe, and is an advisor and an operating partner for PE funds and family offices.
Hans studied for a masters in law at the University of Leuven and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has a very strong academic background, but also more than 25 years of experience as a private equity investor. He has been an Investment Director and Member of the Investment Committees of various funds and family offices. He is an assistant professor and lectures at INSEAD and Vlerick Business School.
Wolfgang is an attorney-at-law in Austria with more than 20 years of professional experience, and is a member of a number of supervisory boards and trust funds. Wolfgang has vast experience in founding companies and creating legal structures, and advising on corporate law, data protection law, sports law, and foundation and commercial law.
Dawid is a finance expert with international operating experience in building velue of companies across the chemical, mining, energy, automotive, and new technologies sectors.
He has been with Kulczyk Investments since 2010, overseeing the global investment portfolio.
From 2018-2023, he served as President of the Management Board at CIECH S.A. – an EU-based chemicals group listed on two securities exchanges and employing more than 3 800 people. The group has nine plants and six business areas, such as soda, salt, plant protection products, glass and silicates, and polyurethane foams. Over the course of Dawid’s term as President of the Management Board, the company successfully employed strategies that helped to achieve a significant increase in generated cash flow. Due to a steady management approach and focus on operational efficiency, and creating a performance-based and Team-oriented corporate culture, CIECH achieved record financial results in 2022.
Dawid worked at the international company KPMG Audyt, where he was responsible for auditing individual and consolidated financial statements for firms in a variety of sectors.
In 2014, he became a chartered accountant registered with the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors. Dawid completed the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School, as well as Stanford Executive Program at Stanford University. Additionally, he holds an MBA from Georgia State University and the Poznań University of Economics and Business. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Economics at the Poznań University of Economics and Business.
An executive with over 25 years of experience in managing global organizations in the raw materials sector, and an expert in the fields of international trade, project financing and development. Between 2020-2023 he served as a Management Board Member and Chief Financial Officer at CIECH S.A. – an international chemicals group with a strong position on the global markets.
From 2017-2020, he served as Vice-President of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer at Tele-Fonika Kable S.A. He was also President of the Management Board of JDR Cable Systems Ltd. in the United Kingdom.
Prior to that he held various roles at KGHM Polska Miedź S.A. during his 17 years tenure with the company. Most recently he served there as Vice-President of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer.
Jarosław obtained his MSc Degree from Poznań University of Economics, Faculty of Business Administration. He completed a number of other programs in the field of international finance, risk management and asset valuation including Stanford University GSB.

He held various executive positions such as CEO, CFO, and COO at renowned organizations like SABMiller, Kompania Piwowarska, Ursus Breweries and Żabka, demonstrating his versatile leadership and strategic acumen. During tenure as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Studenac Market, a premier Croatian grocery chain under the Enterprise Investors portfolio, he is actively supporting the business growth and development.
